Vaishali is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Vaishali is 2,036 km² including 1,998.48 km² rural area and 37.52 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Vaishali has a population of 34,95,021 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,33,079 while rural population is 32,61,942. The district has a population density of 1717 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,26,087 houses in the district, including 38,280 urban houses and 5,87,807 rural houses.
