About Rohtas District

Rohtas is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Rohtas is 3,881 km² including 3,794.52 km² rural area and 86.48 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rohtas has a population of 29,59,918 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,27,765 while rural population is 25,32,153. The district has a population density of 763 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,60,345 houses in the district, including 69,951 urban houses and 3,90,394 rural houses. 🏢Administrative System/Division Of Rohtas District

The Rohtas district is further divided in to Subdivisions / Blocks / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
