Kaimur is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Kaimur is 3,332 km² including 3,319.55 km² rural area and 12.45 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kaimur has a population of 16,26,384 peoples, out of which urban population is 65,571 while rural population is 15,60,813. The district has a population density of 488 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,50,884 houses in the district, including 10,189 urban houses and 2,40,695 rural houses.
